Homegrown and mill spun, this yarn is created by twitsting one vanilla cream and one light brown yarn strand from our moorit colored sheep. The result is a fun barber pole yarn, super, soft to the touch.
Take one of these skeins and feel the skin soft merino against your face, smooth. This yarn is crafted by plying one strand of dark brown with one strand of vanilla cream fiber.
All of our yarn and roving is 100% Montana Grown and Made from naturally colored merino sheep; no dyes, just mother nature's rainbow of colors. Pasture raised on our farm in the Flathead Valley, our Merino sheep are supplemented with hay and grain which is locally grown and milled custom for us. Our fiber is washed and processed at The Wool Mill in Belgrade, MT, a zero waste, solar powered mill. We work with the mill owner to design the best color combinations and products for the fiber our sheep grow. This yarn could look great dyed but we'll leave that up to you.
