Steitzhof’s goal is to live productively and leave behind the best footprint on our land as possible. We strive to grow quality fine wool that hand spinners will love. Our sheep grow wool while we manage their food source using regenerative grazing practices. The sheep build a future sweater that regenerates the soil. A community of worms, bugs, fungi, and microorganisms grows beneath the surface. The pasture improves and the birds and bees prosper. This combination retains more water in the soil and landscape becomes drought resilient. Together, with our fiber customers, we are Saving the Globe One Sheep at a Time!
